Professor Peter Whorwell has had a particular interest in the functional gastrointestinal disorders and undertakes research into the clinical, epidemiological and pathophysiological aspects of gastrointestinal disorders. He will be answering questions about the impact of gastrointestinal disorders for people with Rett Syndrome and offering some ideas for investigations to find the causes of gut pain
