About this speaker
Gilly trained at Guys Hospital and has long experience working in the NHS, specialising in Paediatrics in the community. During this time she has developed a particular interest in Rett Syndrome and has, for many years, taken an active role in the Cardiff Rett Clinics as well as in her own locality.
She has also taken an active interest in many of the regional and National meetings organised by Rett UK and is on the advisory team for the Rett Disorders Working Group.
Gilly currently works as an independent consultant and in addition, usually teaches several Movement classes including a dance and ballet class for people’ who always wanted to dance but never thought they could’!
Gilly’s leisure pursuits include outdoor activities, music and dance. To her great delight she has recently been involved in a variety of projects, bringing these elements to groups of all ages as a source of well-being and therapy.
