Emma joined Shoosmiths' Wealth Protection team as a solicitor in September 2016 and works in both the Milton Keynes and Northampton offices.
Emma can provide advice on a number of private client matters. She advises individuals in relation to creating a Will, making Lasting Powers of Attorney, lifetime tax planning and setting up a trust. Emma acts for personal representatives in obtaining a Grant of Probate and dealing with the full administration of an estate. She also has experience in advising trustees in relation to the administration of a trust and their duties as trustees.
Before qualifying as a solicitor, Emma studied Law with European Legal Studies LLB (2:1) at King's College London, and spent a year studying in Belgium at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. After staying in London to complete her Legal Practice Course (Distinction), Emma moved to Cambridge to complete her training contract at Taylor Vinters LLP, and qualified in September 2016.
Emma is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners.
