About this speaker
Cindy-Jo Morison is senior arts psychotherapist with the arts therapies team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. She has experience of working with children, young people and adults who have intellectual, neurological and developmental disabilities and complex and challenging needs. She is keen to promote the arts therapies and has presented at various conferences both at home and abroad and has had a number of articles published including a book chapter.
During the past year she has also offered music therapy group and individual sessions using various platforms to support individuals and families struggling with the isolation and uncertainly that Covid has brought by offering a regular space each week to forget about what is going on around them.
