About this speaker
Anne has specialised in working with children with complex needs for much of her career. Anne currently leads the acute speech and language therapy service at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Her clinical specialisms are dysphagia and motor speech disorders. Prior to joining the Evelina in 2017, Anne worked as a commissioner in Surrey and as the Designated Clinical Officer (DCO) for Children with special educational needs and disability. She has also managed a large community paediatric therapy service.
Anne was awarded a PhD from University College London in 2019. Her research involved investigating the use of blended diets in the paediatric population. Anne is the Principal Investigator for the Project: The role of different diets in children who are gastrostomy fed (Led by University of York) at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
